Description:

Hand Embroidery Project for 12 months, meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month with the above exceptions.

Learn how to applique/embroider using wool and perle cotton thread by making themed whimsical blocks each month.

You Need:

• Riley Blake 10” Stacker WOOL

• Wool & Whimsy Thread Pack

• Table Stand to display your monthly projects (opt.)

• 12 monthly patterns to be purchased individually each month

• Background wool to be purchased each month

Fabrics: (to be purchased at Treasure Chest Quilting)(each month you will purchase the pattern and the background fabric (Fee $14 monthly)

• Wool 10” Stacker by Riley Blake

• Wool & Whimsy Thread Pack

• Backing fabric (light piece and dark piece)

Additional Supplies:

• Light Box

• #22 Chenille Needle for Wool Applique

• Silicone Appli-Fuse Mat (at least 12” x 12”

• Heat & Bond Featherlite 1 yd to get started

• Ultra fine point sharpie black

• Small scissors for cutting applique pieces and fusible webbing

• Pinpoint tweezers

• Press & Seal (I can share a box)

• Small iron & wool pressing mat or pressing surface

• Rotary cutter and mat

• Small ruler for trimming project and cutting backing

• Needle minder (optional)

Before class:

• Purchase supplies
